How will I benefit by taking the Texas Notary Public Online Training Course instead of a live class?
Many notaries have a hectic schedule during working hours and do not have the time necessary to leave the office to attend a formal seminar. Our course allows you to enjoy a complete and thorough notary training course from the comfort of your own home or office, at your own pace, with a Certificate of Completion awarded at the conclusion of the course.
Will this course increase my knowledge and understanding of proper notarial acts?
Absolutely. With the Texas Notary Public Online Training Course, the student will learn proper procedures, laws, and protocols to notarize lawfully and avoid costly liability, both for the notary and the notary’s employer. It is strongly recommended that the student purchase a hardcopy version of the course as well as the Texas Notary Public Manual immediately, for reference after the course is completed. http://www.texasnotary.com/stamps.asp. These beneficial manuals will provide constant clarification, providing sample forms, proper procedures, and Texas law. You’ll find that you refer to them again and again as different notarial opportunities and challenges arise, and you’ll have all the answers you need at your fingertips as you continue to advance in your notary career.
How many hours does it take to complete the course?
The Texas Notary Public Online Training Course is designed for completion in three (3) hours if taken at one sitting, which is the optimum method of completion for the maximum benefit to the student. It is recommended that a 15-minute stretch break be taken after Chapters 5 and 9.
Do I have to complete the entire course at one time?
No; that’s one of the great advantages of the Texas Notary Public Online Training Course. You can log out at any time and return to the course when you are ready to proceed. Once your registration is approved you have 30 days to complete the course and receive your Certificate of Completion.
Once I complete the course and print my Certificate of Completion, can I continue to access the course?
No. You will have generous access to the course for 30 days from the time you register, in order to allow for interruptions and other obligations. This is one of the greatest advantages of online training! At the time you print your Certificate of Completion, you will be considered a course graduate and will no longer need access to the course. However, we do recommend that you purchase the hardcopy version of the course as well as the Texas Notary Public Manual at www.texasnotary.com/stamps.asp for future reference.

It is strongly recommended that you choose a username and password that will be very simple and easy for you to remember, but difficult for another to guess. It is vitally important that you keep your username and password in a safe place that you may refer to in the event you are unable to remember them. If you find you are unable to remember your password, go to the home page, click on the “forget password?” button, and enter your username. We will email your password to the email address you gave us at registration. If you forget your username and your password, you will need to call us at 800-721-2663; however, this is costly in terms of time and accessibility and should be avoided if at all possible.
